Add or display “Register” link in our meta widget.

by Kimi on March 9, 2010

You want people fill in a registration form in your site, but there is nowhere to be seen how they can do it. Have you ever wondered why your “register” link in our meta widget is not displayed?

I thought it was difficult but it is not. Basically it can be easily done by placing your “Meta” widget in your sidebar. But if you forget not to check “”anyone can register” in Admin/Settings/General, the link will simply not show.

If you have this link in your site, it means if someone stops by, they will see this link, along with login, entries or comment RSS. Then they are able to create an account in your blog. I personally will be extra careful with people who register to my site.

If you wish to modify which links you want them to display in meta widget, my other video or another one might be a help.
