ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook

A few days ago I got my ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook and I needed about 23 minutes to set it up and booted.

Since the first set up, I added some applications and removed them, mostly the pre-installed programs. I wanted to get rid of them, I need to say, they are junks. Other than that, I could not ask for more with this little laptop because of its price.

It does most of my computing needs, like checking email (this little thing detects wifi at ease), surfing the net, and watch some movies, this little laptop is just great when you use it on the go, but not for a longterm work- too small.

To be honest, I was in doubt before I purchased, because it was inexpensive, but it runs well until today.

Additionally, I have been using this netbook to work with Microsoft Office suite thus far, because I needed a device to work with datas and this requires me a lot to type on this ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook.

Because I need to type a lot, I am very happy that this netbook comes with a keyboard which is almost full size. I get used to it quickly.

The keyboard and the netbook itself have a very small size, and it makes it very portable and lightweight. I need to say, if you have big hands, you will need a while to work with its keyboard comfortably, because the keyboard size is about 90% of the standard full size keyboard.

The battery life I reckon can be saved about three hours, though in the description of the product, the battery life is about 4 hours. Not much different, but it is still a letdown for me.

Because the ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook has only 10.1-inch display, it does not deliver good quality images as my other fullsize netbook, but it was not the reason why I bought it. It does not have a glossy effect on its screen, this is what important.

Unlike any other inexpensive netbooks, this ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook performs quitely, so it is convenient when you have to work in a silent environment.

From the clean wise, I chose to have the black color, because you can actually choose white or black, and I have it in black, not only its a few bucks cheaper, but the black one is an easy color to keep it clean. I don’t have experience with white ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook, but it’s anti-fingerprint.

If you expect a good quality of a webcam, then it is not your thing since it has only 0.3MP webcam. Although it delivers smooth video, but you can clearly see grained pictures and videos. Luckily I don’t use this ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook for video chat or skype. For that I use my bigger laptop.

If you are looking for a long term netbook to work, play games, and video chatting intensely, then you probably would consider a bigger laptop.

But if you want a small laptop that will do basic activities with some documment files, and checking emails while you are on the way, this is the right choice. The 10.1-Inch ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU27-BK Netbook is inexpensive and will do those works for you perfectly.
