HP G72-253NR Review – Overview
Honestly, I was very skeptical before deciding to purchase a refurbished 17.3-inch HP G72-253NR, so I bought it with low expectations. I got this 17 incher for a steal ($355).
And once it arrived, I received a way sturdier laptop that I expected, it looked like new. This HP G72-253NR has performed great, both speed and capacity fit to my computing needs. This machine is definitely a functioning secondhand laptop.

If you are on the budget, I would also purchase Square Trade warranty.
This HP G72-253NR has the decent size, weight, price and specs. A clear 17″ bright display, 4GB of RAM, 640GB HD space and 1.86GHz intel processor, that’s absolutely more than enough for most office, school or home use.
The 17.3-inch HP G72-253NR
This HP laptop is probably not a top line computer, but it is like purchasing a brand new computer which is offered at fantastic pricepoint.
The great part is after you do first boot-up, it would install Windows 7Home Premium edition automatically once it went through the primary steps. You will have the options to configure some stuff, but I would leave this settings alone, unless you know what you are doing.
When the installation is done, you can install all stuff you want, I have installed Ms Office, Firefox browser, antivirus softwares, and many other softwares, and this HP G72-253NR works smooth like in a new condition.
The HP G72-253NR 17.3-Inch Intel Pentium P6000 1.86GHz , 4GB RAM, 640GB HD, Webcam, Windows7 (Mfr Refurbished) has excellent keyboard, it has full size keys. There is a great border between the main solid keys and the number pad area. The keys do have a great touch.
The webcam is not the best but working, and I don’t do video chatting, so it is not a major issue for me. I have not experienced any issues with the hardware so far, this laptop can handle multitasking fast and quiet.
I only wish this HP G72-253NR 17.3-Inch Intel Pentium P6000 1.86GHz , 4GB RAM, 640GB HD, Webcam, Windows7 (Mfr Refurbished) had longer battery life, I have not officially timed the battery, but it may be closer to four hours.

Overall this was a great purchase. Generally the refurbished HP G72-253NR is fast, quiet and stable.
Huge RAM, Windows 7 Operating system, a lots of hard disk storage, built-in web-cam, a lightweight laptop, and great price you can ever find. I am happy with my refurbished HP G72-253NR laptop, as I can save my money, and get much more bang for your buck!
