Toshiba NB505-N508BL 10.1-Inch Netbook (Blue) Overview

At glance, the features of this netbook is not too special for 2011 laptops which are available on the market.

It is a 1G RAM, 250GB Hard Drive, three USB ports, SD momory card slot, VGA output, headphone jacks, together with Mic which are separated, video camera, and the battery life which can be used up to 8 hours.
Nothing special on that, but you should read further.

The Toshiba NB505-N508BL

What stands out from this machine is its full size keyboard, unlike the other laptops, which you must use pgup and pgdown key while pressing the fn key if you scroll in a long website page, with the Toshiba NB505-N508BL 10.1-Inch Netbook (Blue) you can actually forget that pain because of the comfortable full size “PC” keyboad.

The touchpad is also very much improved in this model, it is very much better and wider for your productivity.

The 2.9 pounds weight is great, I can actually place this laptop in a bookbag, and it is very efficient as I am a student.

If you are on the move frequently, I definitely recommend this machine, because it is very small for a netbook and very simple to carry or pack.

The set up and boots are always easy and fast, if you are a non techy person, you would definitely be able to play with it within minutes.

The first one I ordered would not start Windows, just gave a DOS screen saying it could not find the operating system. Credit Amazon for an almost totally painless return process and for having a replacement in my hands 24 hours after the defect was found.
I really like the second one so far. Boots fairly quickly, feels very solidly made, has a super display and an excellent keyboard and touchpad. Seems like very good value for the price.
I would give it five stars right now except that the delivery of the first defective machine makes me wonder a little about quality control and durability.
